James Robert Spivey, born 2/11/1935, passed away on 7/15/2014. He retired from Swift Independent Meat Packing Company. He loved antique clocks and fishing. James is survived by his wife of 56 years, Bonita Wood Spivey, son James Todd Spivey, (wife Vickie Spivey, grandsons James Trey Spivey and Joey Spivey) and daughter, Tori Spivey Gustafson, (husband Randy Gustafson, granddaughter Lea Gustafson,) all of Texas. He is survived by a brother, Billy Spivey, (wife Dorothy and son Jason). James was a member of the Golden Acres Baptist Church in Pasadena where he will be remembered in a memorial on July 26, 2014 at 10 a.m.
