He was born in Abbeville, Louisiana on October 3rd, 1942 to Avery and Eve Mouton. He was married to Dorothy Mouton for 43yrs. James worked in Operations as an operator for Albermarle Corporation.
James “Larry” was a member of the Moose Lodge and The Sunshiners.
Larry enjoyed the beach house and fishing with family and friends. He loved to eat great food and go dancing. He enjoyed traveling and the casinos. He would volunteer not wanting any recognition. Larry loved life and his family and his friends.
James is preceded in death by his parents Avery and Eve Mouton, brother Andrew Mouton, sister Phyliss Beene, granddaughters Ashley Nicole Mouton and Ashley Jo Harris, Son Donnie Harris and daughter Alison Show.
James is survived by Wife Dorothy Mouton, daughters Kim Taylor and husband Royce of Port Neches, Tx, Sabrina Freeman of Nederland, Tx, Son Randy Harris and wife Diane of Deer Park, Tx, Brothers Wayne Mouton of Pasadena, Tx, Floyd Mouton and wife Sue of Azle, Tx. Grandchildren Amberly Lopez and husband Felipe, Krystle Durrett, Kris Durrett, Jena Freeman of Lake Charles, Brittney Jones and husband Clay of Colfax, La., Sommer Show, Lauren Dupont and husband Jeremy, Jeremy Harris and wife Sarah. Great grandchildren William Lopez, Kaydance Jack, John and Allie Jones, Braxton Show, Jacob Harris, Hunter Jernigan and sweet Stevie Dupont.
