James is survived by his father, William Lambert, mother Georgia Dean, sister Jaycee Holt and his grandparents, Bob Quinn, Caroline Soward, Susan, and Fredrick Pagel.
James graduated from Clear Springs High School and entered the United States Army soon after. While in the Army, James received the Good Conduct Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Global War on Terrorism Medal, and Army Service Ribbon. James attended San Jacinto College and, most recently, the College of the Mainland. In his personal life, James had a youthful balance of fun, fitness, family, food, and friends. He actively worked out at the gym and ate triple his weight in crawfish every season. James enjoyed eclectic restaurants and exploring cultures that were not his own. Game nights with his friends, whom he considered his lifelong brothers, was a mainstay in his life. He enjoyed telescopes and surveying the stars and never met a firework he would not immediately send into the heavens. James loved animals, especially cats.
We will forever miss his smile and "frequent one-liners." We LOVE you, James! You are now in the heavens with the stars!
