Irene McGrew

Irene McGrew, born on April 1, 1924 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. She passed away at her daughter's home in Pearland, Texas on Monday, August 27, 2018 at the age of 94.. Irene and her family moved to Texas in 1957. Irene was a graduate of a Catholic School. She was the only child of James H. Pitts and Eula V. Pitts.

Irene McGrew dedicated her life to her 4 children and her husband Donald G. McGrew. She loved flowers, gardening and cooking wonderful meals from their garden. She loved family and friends.

Irene had wonderful friends, that she shared her love and great bowling skills with weekly. She made many friends for life. She loved music and filled the home with music and energy.

Irene leaves behind three daughters; Dana Edgar, Pitsy Dalhstrom and Sherry Culbertson. She also leaves behind Harold Dalhstrom, Elizabeth Dalhstrom, Jennifer Wilkins, Luke Wilkins, Darren Edgar, Evanne Winograd, Daniel Edgar, Crystal Edgar, Lil Klein, Shay Johnson, Aaron Scott, Stephanie Scott, Charles Sloan and Shawn Perrard.

She was also a great grandmother to Logan Scott, Alexander Edgar, Dominic Edgar, Anderson Wilkins, Namann Roberts, Desirae Roberts and Emma Lee.

Irene McGrew lived a beautiful life that came to an end. She died as she lived. Everyone loved her. In our hearts, our memory will always be kept of one we loved and will never forget. God blessed us all for having Irene McGrew in our lives.
