Helen Rose VanHatten Vanderwilt, age 90, passed away on March 14, 2018. She was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years Reuben Alvin (Van) Vanderwilt, Jr. their son James, grandson Ethan, and great-grandson Aiden. She is survived by their sons Randy, Lawrence, Lee and Pat, and their wives, children, and grandchild. Helen was a loving wife and mother, an avid bridge player, gardener, a devout Catholic, and to her grandchildren she was known as Grandmo. There will be a funeral service celebrating Helen’s life in the chapel of Grand View Funeral Home in Pasadena, Texas, Thursday, March 22, 2018, at 12:30 pm. A reception will follow in the event room of Grand View Funeral Home from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm.
