I married into the Millican clan and was happily introduced to Helen way back in 1976.  I married Tim, DT's son and while we lived in Texas I enjoyed the company of the "sisters" and their extended clan.  I still tell the crazy story from 30 plus years ago when the sisters came to visit us in Midland on one of their yearly trips.  What fun we had!  Then there was the time when I had to be in Houston for surgery and was in the hospital for more than a week, Helen was there almost every day.  Not just keeping me entertained but bringing little treats and gifts.  I loved her and am honored to have known her and had her in my life.  She was an example of grace and humor and never ending love.  The world was a better place because she was in it and I know she will be missed by many.  
My deepest condolences to all her family and all who loved her.

"Little old lady from Pasedena, Go Granny! Go Granny! Go Granny, Go!" Aunt Helen used to sing this to me while dancing. She was always so funny! Such great memories from the Brownwood reunions that I will cherish forever. You are with your parents, brothers and sisters now! Give my Pappy a big hug and kiss for me! See you soon! <3

I am deeply saddened by the loss of my wonderful Aunt Helen. She will be missed by all who knew her

Mrs. Randle was truly a lovely lady. I had the privilege of working with her in the Directory Assistance Unit at SWBT. She was such a sweet person. My condolences to her family.

Helen's lively, exuberant, upbeat, optimistic attitude will be missed so much. She was such a blessing to all who had the good fortune of knowing her. She loved ALL and was in return LOVED BY ALL. I know we will be seeing her in heaven, and when I get there and ask her how she has been doing there, her response will be something like: "Fine and dandy, good as cotton candy!"(she said that a lot. it was part of her lively personality that we loved to much.)

Aunt Helen ("Little Ol Lady From Pasadena"), you will always hold a special place in my heart! My favorite memories of Brownwood are of the reunion every summer. You always remembered special little treats for all the kiddos. Your thoughtfulness, your smile, your hugs, and your laughter will never be forgotten! I love you always!

Mrs. Randle was such a good, TRUE friend of my mother, Beverly Burmeister.  She was also like an adopted grandmother to myself and my sister.  I never saw her without a smile.  Her legacy to me personally is to give to others with love in your heart and without expectation.  I love you "Jay".  I cherish all of the conversations we would have when you called for my mom back in the day.

I am thankful you were a part of my life.

Helen, I will always remember our times of going to Dairy Queen.... Eating, talking and laughing. So much fun and good times. We did that a lot and we enjoyed every time! We will miss you so much. But, some day - we will see you again!    Love You, By Margie Ward

Helen obviously had a massive impact on all who knew her.  I only met her once when visiting her son Richard at her home in 1969 I think.  Dick, I am very sorry for your loss.  You are in my prayers.  Blessings on your entire family at this time.

Oh, Ms. Helen, we have enjoyed many many laughs together, that I will hold dear to my heart. Many many years of those 9am Saturday morning appointments, you would quote " come on girl gotta get beautiful, got things to do, people to see ".You were God's angel here on earth! Your goal in life was to always show people how much you cared! Your heart was big, and you left many memories for a lot of people. I'm sending prayers to your family for comfort, Ms. Helen fly high, I know you are, I loved you deeply....

Mawmaw was so precious she meant so much to many she will be so very missed but not forgotten.

Helen brought so much joy and laughter to so many!  What a joy!  I have very fond memories from my childhood of her visits.
