Harvey Eugene Fisher

Harvey Eugene Fisher, 71, of Deer Park, Texas, decided to take the ultimate retirement and passed away peacefully at his home on October 9, 2024, surrounded by family. Born in Galveston, Texas, on July 16, 1953, to Adams and Lena Fisher, Harvey lived a life full of adventure and laughter. He was married to his wife, Debbie Moon Fisher, for 10 wonderful years.

Harvey had a long and illustrious career in the construction industry, mastering the crafts of welding, iron working, pipefitting, millwright, crane operation, and more, working his way up to job Superintendent and Project Manager.

Harvey had a passion for riding motorcycles, fishing, coaching little league baseball, grilling for friends and family by his backyard pool, and spending time telling jokes and stories with loved ones like “why don't fish play basketball? because they're afraid of the net”!

He was preceded in death by his late wife, Sherri Richards Fisher; father, Adams Otis Fisher Sr.; mother, Lena Fern Sellers; stepfather, Daniel C. Post; brother, Adams Otis Fisher Jr.; sister, Linda Gail Rougeou; brother, Patrick Earl Fisher; and stepsister, Dana Ruth Garcia.

Harvey is survived by his wife of 10 years, Debbie Moon; son, Jake Fisher of Houston, TX; stepson, Ryan Moon and his wife, Taylor, of Rosharon, Texas; granddaughters, Skyla Fisher and Caroline Moon; grandson, Harrison Moon; sisters, Della Richards and her husband, Eugene, of Kirbyville, Texas, and Pamela Johnson of Jasper, Texas; stepsisters, Barbara Roberson and her husband, Rusty, of Deer Park, Donna Magan of Montgomery, Texas, and Linda Manning and her husband, Mike, of Orem, Utah; brother, Robert Fisher and his wife, Stephanie, of Liberty, Texas; stepbrother, Daniel Post Jr. of Carrollton, Texas; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Harvey's legacy of laughter, love, and craftsmanship will be remembered by all who knew him. You can bet ole Harv is riding the smoothest roads, with the wind in his beautiful hair and smile on his face, because even the Angels know there's no better way to travel than on a Harley!
