He was born in Lewiston, Maine on December 4, 1950, to Frank Sawyer Sr. and Muriel Sawyer.
Frank had a career in the United States Army for 20 years and the Walmart Photo Album department for another 25 years. He was happily retired and had a passion for mustangs, photos of family, and anything patriotic. He loved being around his family and collecting coins, John Wayne, and New England Patriots memorabilia.
He was preceded in death by his father Frank Sawyer Sr. and mother Muriel Sawyer and daughter Shirley Sawyer.
He is survived by his daughter Alexy Moreno, son-in-law Michael Moreno, and son Michael Sawyer, grandchildren: Jesus Martinez, Jovan Martinez, Roxanna Santana, Luis Santana, Ramon Falls, Frankie Santos, Rachael Santos, Dallas Santos, Anthony Santos, Holly Kreth, Sarah Kreth, and Naunette Sawyer along with his great-grandchildren, Aubree Martinez, Anela Willis, Leilani Willis, Aaron Clyne Jr., and Hideo Castillo.
A memorial gathering for Frank will be held Saturday, May 14, 2022 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Grand View Funeral Home, 8501 Spencer Highway, Pasadena, Texas.
