Frank James “Flip” Konieczny, Jr., 78, born August 11, 1936 in Brenham, Texas. Passed away on February 8, 2015 in Pasadena, Texas. He retired from Mrs. Baird’s Bakeries after 34 years. He loved baseball, football, keeping his yard just right, but his greatest joy was his granddaughters.
He was preceded in death by his parents Frank, Sr. and Cecelia Konieczny, and oldest son, James Konieczny.
Flip is survived by his wife of 46 years Georgia Konieczny, son, Michael Konieczny and wife Mary; granddaughters, Ann Marie Konieczny and Emily Konieczny; brother, Robert Konieczny and wife Bea; sister, Barbara Clowers and husband Roy; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 12, 2015 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM with a Rosary at 7:00 PM at Grand View Funeral Home, 8501 Spencer Hwy, Pasadena, Texas 77505.
Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, February 13, 2015 at 10:00 AM at St. Pius V Catholic Church, 824 Main Street Pasadena, Texas 77506.
