Denise Marlene Martinez

She was born at Ellington Air Force Base in Houston, TX on August 7, 1956 to Donald and Geraldine Larick. She was the oldest of three sisters. Upon graduating high school, Denise met Michael Martinez and they were married not long after. They had a son Bryan born 1980.

Denise spent her entire career working in the title business as an escrow officer. During this time, she met many of her lifelong friends who she always spoke fondly of. Her greatest joy in life was her son Bryan and her family. She dedicated her life to Bryan and his accomplishments always gave her happiness. Denise eventually gained a daughter in Stephanie Martinez and grandchildren which she cherished more than anything. She especially enjoyed spending time with Braxton and Brooklynn, spoiling them as grandma CiCi could only do.

She was preceded in death by her father Donald. She is survived by her son Bryan and his wife Stephanie, grandchildren Braxton and Brooklynn, mother Geraldine and husband Paul, stepmother Carol, sister Lori and husband Greg, sister Janie, nephew Tyler and wife Jessica, and niece Hayley and husband Drew.

To her family, she leaves behind so many great memories of times spent together. Most importantly, her unconditional love will forever be the hearts of Bryan, Stephanie, Braxton, Brooklynn, Mom, Paul, Carol, Lori, Greg, Janie, Tyler, and Hayley.

Memorial services will be Wednesday, August 14, at 1pm at Grandview Funeral Home, 8501 Spencer Highway, Pasadena, TX 77505.
