Cynthia Anne (Davis) Grappe was born in Houston, Tx on September 16. 1966 to John Wayne Davis and Edith Louise Thornton. Cindy was the youngest of 2 but she was wise began her years. Cindy was very responsible, money savvy and knew what it took to make her way in this world. After graduating from Pasadena High School she earned a degree in Accounting from San Jacinto College. She used her accounting knowledge to help make an excellent living for her family at S & B. Cindy met her soulmate. Glenn in high school and they married in 1987 and have been inseparable ever since. Cindy and Glenn just celebrated their 36th anniversary and their love story is one for the books. Cindy's love for Glenn was unwavering.
Cindy talked to Nathan, her favorite son, daily and loved and cherished their special bond. Cindy was very proud of her son, which many times was shared through humorous banter.
Cindy had impeccable taste in homes, clothes, cars, vacations and dogs. She took great pride in everything she owned or did, but she was also the most humble person you would ever meet. Cindy's dogs Parker, Sadie, and Shelby were her babies. She also loved when Nathan and her grandpup, Teal would visit.
A favorite past time for Cindy was long car rides with Glenn listening to music talking, and enjoying each other's company.
Cindy's ride through life ended way to soon as she departed this life on October 4, 2023 at her home in Pasadena. We were blessed to be apart of her journey and call her wife, mom, sister, sister-n-law, aunt, cousin, niece, and friend. Cindy will forever be missed and in our hearts.
