Camille Butler, born December 8, 1925 in San Antonio, Texas passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family December 14, 2017. She and her husband were life long residents of Pasadena, Texas. Camille was a wonderful loving person that loved her family immensely and would put them first, even before herself. She loved her church and was the last surviving charter member of First Christian Church of Pasadena, Texas. She loved sponsoring children for youth camps and activities, as well as keeping them stocked with an abundant supply of hot chocolate (that always brought smiles to the children). Camille always had a smile on her face whenever you would see her. She was passionate about smiling, so much so, that she was an avid supporter of the Smile Train organization, which provides surgery to children born with cleft lip and/or palate to help rebuild their smile. She enjoyed doing community service with Pasadena Junior Forum and Pilots Club of Pasadena for many years, and was an active female rancher. Camille would go to extreme measures to be at all the family events-she wasn’t about to miss out on anything if possible. Camille was preceded in death, by her husband, Earl Clifford Butler, Jr., parents Wanda and C.P. Vincent and sister, Sonia Roos. She is survived by her children, Earl Butler III., and wife Marilyn, Dixie Carlton and husband Ronald, Paul Butler and wife Kimberly, Lisa Selden and husband Kevin.
