Bob was an Executive Director at BCIT for many years and lived with his family in North Vancouver. When it came time Bob and Wife Anne discovered their dream retirement location on Vancouver Island in Parksville where they built their dream home and garden. Bob was a man of his word and one who did what he could to help others. Having lived all over Canada, Bob had many friends across our country. Those who knew Bob were won over by his friendly demeanour and great sense of humour. Bob loved woodworking and built all kinds of things for family and friends. From bird houses to hutches with the eye of a perfectionist he meticulously put love into all of his creations.
Bob loved his wife Anne and their marriage was an exemplary example of how to become one, as great friends and partners in life. Bob loved his girls, Robin and Margo, and his grandchildren George, Charlie and Molly. Robin is grateful to have spent many hours growing up in the shop watching, helping and building with her Dad. Margo forged a special bond with her Pops over many lunches at the pub, talking, getting advise, and laughing. He was our safe place.
Anne is grateful for Bob’s constant support , companionship, love, and laughter. Bob and Anne were inseparable and rarely fought or disagreed living life in harmony, joyfully, with love and lots of laughter.
Bob will be missed greatly but remembered fondly in love, with much laughter. We’ll see you in Heaven one day...Fly with the Angels.........
