Robert was born February 26, 1931 in Parkersburg, WV to Ezra Russell and Jane Irene {Rice} Morris.
He served in the US Air Force.
Robert married Delores "Tiny" Putnam on December 16, 1950.
He worked for Union Carbide and Cytec. Robert was a member of Grace Gospel, Parkersburg. Robert enjoyed yard sales and most of all, his dog, Missy.
Robert will be deeply missed by his wife of 67 years, Tiny, sons, Richard (Janis) Morris of Boaz, Randall (Kathy) Morris of Parkersburg and only darling daughter Addene (Allen) Matthews of Somerville, AL; 8 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren and several great-great grandchildren and counting. Also blessed with an abundance of loving nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Friday, May 12, 2017 from 5-8 p.m. at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home, Parkersburg. Funeral services will be Saturday, May 13, 2017 at 10 a.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Tim Burch officiating. Interment will be at Sunset Memory Gardens.
