Mark Steven Frazier

Mark Frazier, son of Craig and Connie Frazier, passed away on September 29, 2024 in Holly Springs, North Carolina, at the age of 46. Mark was born on May 3, 1978 in Parkersburg, WV. He graduated from Parkersburg South High School in 1997 and Marshall University in 2003 with a degree in Athletic Training. Most recently, he was employed by Boston Scientific as a Senior Therasphere Consultant.

He made his home in Holly Springs, NC. , surrounded by countless loyal friends from his college days at Marshall and at The Club at Twelve Oaks. Whether Mark was enjoying golf, water sports, snow skiing, traveling, or cheering on Marshall, the Yankees, or Cleveland Browns, his enthusiasm was contagious.

He loved being “dog dad” to his beloved pets, was devoted to his family and was “Uncle Mark” to the children of the many friends in his life.

He is survived by his parents, his brother Matt, girlfriend Sara Mobley and family, Aunt Carol and Alan Bialkowski, Uncle Bradley and Debbie Frazier, Uncle John Dowler and cousins Dustin and Luke Frazier, Jules Dowler Rasmussen and Jeff, Jonathan Dowler and Lauren, Dawson and Hallie Shepard, Wyatt Dowler, Haley and Jack Rasmussen and many other cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandparents Herb and Joan Dawson, Charles and Janet Frazier, and great-grandparents Homer and Mildred Boston and I.P. and Anna Halbert, his Aunt Carla Dowler, and his treasured canine, Abby.

A Celebration of Life will be 2 P.M. Sunday, October 13, 2024 at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home with Pastor Rodney Blanchard officiating. Inurnment will follow at Sunset Memory Gardens. Visitation will be two hours prior to the service from 12 P.M. to 2 P.M. at the funeral home.
