He was born June 3, 1956 in Preston County, WV a son of the late Guy Holbert Hathaway and Wanda June Rinehart Hathaway.
Jeffrey was in the trucking industry. He was a Methodist by faith. He enjoyed spending time with his family. Spending time with his grandchildren brought him the most joy. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
Those left behind to cherish his memory include his sons, Charles Nickell Jr., Jeremy (Michelle) Hathaway; daughter, Amanda (Mike) Cramlet; brother, Steve Hathaway; sister, Melanie Adams; grandchildren, Tyler, Charlie, Brinna, Chanda, Jerynn, Karegn, Alex, Josh, Nathanael, Sam, Abby, Elizabeth, Hannah, Sarah;2 great grandchildren; and mother of his children, Karen Hathaway.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Pam Carter.
A celebration of life is scheduled for 2 P.M. March 17, 2024 at the Chapel of Peace in Sunset Memory Gardens with a half hour vitiation prior to the service from 1:30 P.M. to 2 P.M.
