Eska A Camp

Eska was born January 19, 1922 in Wadesville, WV to Okey and Ocie {Provance} Allen.

Eska was a member of the New England Baptist Church where she served in various positions during her lifetime. She was a switchboard operator at Wadesville and was employed by the Goodyear plant of Akron, OH building C47 Commandos during WWII.

Eska will be deeply missed by her daughters, Linda Kay (George) Schreckengost of Palestine, WV, Patsy Rae Camp of Belpre, OH, grandchildren, Heather Lynn (J.R.) Herrmann, Adam Lee Rhodes and Meghan Renea Schreckengost, sister, Grace Lafferre of Parkersburg, brothers, Charles Allen of Lowell, OH, Carroll and Darrell Allen both of Parkersburg WV.

Eska was preceded in death by her parents, husband Oric, daughter, Janice Faye Harpold, sister, Florence Williamson, brothers, Howard and Wayne Allen and special friend E. K. Pritchard.

Visitation will be Wednesday, May, 18, 2016 from 5 to 8 p.m. and Thursday, May 19, 2016 from 10 to 11 a.m. at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home, Parkersburg. Funeral services will be Thursday, May 19, 2016 at 11 a.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Roger Johnson officiating. Interment will be at Sunset Memory Gardens.
