She was born on November 2, 1943, to the late Elzie Hendershot and Helen Shaffer.
Betty was a loving wife to her late husband, Robert L. Davis Sr. She was also a loving mother of six children, Kathy M (Floyd) Palmer, the late Robert L. Davis Jr., H. Brian (Loretta) Davis of Parkersburg, WV, Gary W (Brenda) Davis of New Matamoras, OH, Tammy K. Fetty of Wallace and Denise Davis of Davisville, WV.
Betty was the grandmother to 15 grandchildren and 25 greatgrandchildren. She was known for babysitting and for her good cooking and meals.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her son, Robert L Davis Jr.
Funeral services will be 1 P.M. Thursday January 2, 2025, at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home with Dave Cumpston officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memory Gardens. Visitation will be two hours prior to the service from 11 A.M. to 1 P.M. at the funeral home.
