Thomas F Schmitz

Tom was born on November 7, 1947 in Long Beach, California. He served in the Army during the Vietnam War. Prior to moving to Parker, Arizona he worked as a Los Angles City fireman and general contractor.

He was a generous, witty, dedicated, hard working individual who loved bowling, golf, water sports, dancing and especially his family.

Tom is survived by his longtime partner Jerri McGuire and their beloved dog Bossy as well as Jerri's children Ashley, Annette, Casey and Sam, numerous grandchildren, brother John Schmitz and his children Julie, John and Jeffrey, sister Donna Cate Ruggles and her children Danny, Donny and Doug Ruggles, sister Lore Cate, cousin/brother Thomas Kirk and his wife Anita. Tom is preceded in death by his father Eugene, mother Lois, stepfather Donald Cate and twin sister Lou Ann Schmitz Miller.

A graveside service is scheduled for April 24th at 12:30 pm at Forest Lawn in Cypress, CA. A celebration of life will be held in Parker, AZ the date and time are pending.
