Dr. Martha Jean Brown, 65, of Paris, beloved mother & grandmother and honored sister, passed away Sunday, June 26, 2016, at Kettering Medical Center in Kettering, OH. Services are scheduled for 5:00 p.m. Friday, July 8th, at Bright-Holland Funeral Home with Rev. Wayne Blackshear officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service. Graveside services are set for 12:30 p.m. Saturday, July 9th, at Elm Wood Cemetery in Wagoner, OK. Dr. Brown, the daughter of Milo & Mary Miller, was born July 28, 1950, in Kansas City, MO. She graduated from high school and went on to receive her Master’s Degree from the University of Kansas. She then received her Medical Degree from Oklahoma University. Dr. Brown practiced ten years in Muskogee, OK. In 1998, she and her family moved to Paris where she practiced medicine at the Primary Care Associates of Paris. She retired in December of 2014. During her career she was a beloved and wonderful doctor to all children, who were her main focus. She was a member of Paris Church of God. On Aug, 12, 1977, she married Darrel W. Brown, building thirty-seven years of family and memories before his death on Aug. 12, 2014. Survivors include her son, Aaron Brown & wife Geneva of Miamisburg, OH, grandchildren, Braison Brown, Braylee Brown and Nina Brown, her twin sister, Lucille Eagleboy & husband Ed of Colorado Springs, CO, sister, Joyce Row & husband Mike of Pittsburg, KS, a brother, Vernon Miller & wife Dee of Wichita, KS along with several nieces & nephews and a plethora of friends.
