Services are scheduled for 11:00 a.m. Saturday, July 6th at Bright-Holland Funeral Home with Rev. Mark Sanders & Rev. Chris Kelley officiating. Burial will follow in Red Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service. Mr. Moore, the son of Addison Dewey Moore & Roxie Mahala Gayler Moore, was born May 11, 1943, in Dallas, TX. In his later years he was self-employed making ornamental windmills, swings, and many woodworking items. Lonny had been a member of Archers for Christ winning numerous trophies. He was a faithful member of Powderly Church of God.
Mr. Moore was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Addison Dale Moore, and five sisters, Ima Joy, Edith Foy, June Fern, Roxie Mae, and Dewey Galena. Survivors include his wife, Frances Lewis Moore, whom he married on Aug. 23, 1985, building 38 years of memories, a daughter, Tammy Garrett, two grandsons, Bryant Coleman and Heath Coleman, and three great grandsons, along with numerous nieces & nephews and a host of friends.
