James loved the Lord, which in return taught him to love his family, who he always put before himself. He taught them to love and be loved, about working hard, and always being present. All of his family would agree he had the purest soul they'd ever known. He enjoyed attending his grandkids and great-grandkids activies, and didn't miss much of it during his life here on Earth with them. He also loved sitting on the couch with his dog CJ watching the news and ballgames.
James being the selfless man he was requested to not have a memorial ceremony, but for everyone to continue loving life and family the way he did.
The family would like to thank Quality ER and Hunt Regional Medical Center in Greenville for the care they provided to James. Also Elara Caring Home Health who helped take care of him the last 2 years. He loved his nurses Traci and Sonia (Nurse Jane).
James' cremation is under the care of Bright and Holland Funeral Home.
In Leui of flowers donations can be made in his honor to Blossom Methodist Church which he attended since 1980 or Blanton Creek Cemetery in Bagwell.
