Betty Joyce Beall, 85, of Detroit, passed away Saturday, December 16, 2017. Funeral services are scheduled for 11:00 am, Saturday, December 23, 2017 at Bright-Holland Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Fred Fangio officiating. Burial will be made in Detroit Cemetery. The family will receive friends, at the funeral home, one hour prior to service time, 10:00 – 11:00 am. Mrs. Beall was born March 29, 1932 in Detroit to Ed Edwards and Nancy Davidson Edwards. She married Johnnie Wade Beall March 1, 1975, building 42 years of family and memories. She retired after working many years as an administrative secretary at Presbyterian Hospital in Dallas and later with the Dallas Police Department and Dallas Fire Department. In her spare time she loved going to casinos. She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters and 5 brothers. Survivors include her husband; one brother, Ned Edwards of Cedar Creek, along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends. Casket bearers will be Tracy Edwards, Monty Edwards, Marty Don Edwards, Richard Edwards, Pete Pierce and Terry Oliver.
