Nicholas Steven Williams

Nick was born in Omaha, NE on May 16, 1981. He is survived by his son Kadeyn Svoboda, step daughter Marlie, and Evan and Caleo Svoboda whom he loved as his own, his mother Cindy Springs, grandmother Sancha Keleher and sister Angela Feldhaus, his adoptive parents Michael & Joyce Williams, sister Julie (Dan) Hurley, nieces Bridget and Alice Hurley, uncle Lee Feldhaus, cousin Jacob Feldhaus, uncles Don (Beverly) Stiens and Roger (Deb) Stiens, and companion Michelle Wagner.

Nick was a carpenter by trade, but always yearned to be a truck driver. He received his CDL license in 2022. Nick had a way with words and loved to write from the heart. He wrote many poems and other short stories. One school poem about the soldiers during Desert Storm was featured in the Maryville Daily Forum, Maryville, Missouri. His favorite pass time was conversing with his friends and family about his views of the world. Nick always lived his life on his terms. Nick had a big and open heart for everyone no matter their background or life circumstances. He would help anyone, especially the homeless, spending the only money he had in his pocket to buy them a meal and food for their dogs.

Nick was a loving, doting and protective father to his son Kadeyn and stepdaughter Marlie, always telling them how much he loved them.

As a child, Nick was a member of Boy Scout Troop 359. He loved to go camping, fishing, and sitting around the firepit. He made two trips to Canada to go fishing. His last trip was with his father Mike, and his brother-in-law Dan Hurley. He commented during this trip that this was one of the few times he felt at peace. He loved nature.

Beside his family and friends, Nick loved his dog, Stella. On the day of his death, Stella never left his side.

Nick will be greatly missed by those who knew him and benefited from his love and kindness.
