Jim was preceded in death by his parents Toivo and Rose Ronni and son-in-law Warren Merlino.
He is survived by Wanda his wife of 65 years, daughters Cheryl Merlino of Louisville CO, Diane (Scott) Blunk of Papillion NE, and Sandy (Kerry) Engelkamp of Papillion NE; grandchildren Kinsey Merlino of Austin TX, Kyle Merlino of Denver CO, Jessica (Brandt) Humphrey of Overland Park KS, Ashley (Skyler) Meints of Omaha NE, Michael (Chelsea) Engelkamp of Gilbert AZ and Sarah Engelkamp of Papillion NE; and great-grandson Axel Humphrey of Overland Park KS.
Jim was born in Conneaut, OH and spent most of his youth years in Parma, OH. He joined the U.S. Navy in 1956 and retired from active duty in 1977. After his military retirement he settled into the Bellevue community and had an active career in real estate.
Jim was a 50-year member of Episcopal Church of the Holy Spirit and was a 50-year member of the Bellevue Masonic lodge. He had interests in many activities and hobbies to include photography, badminton, and stamp collecting.
