Grace Marietta Jordan

Grace Marietta (Robbins) Jordan was born on October 12, 1932 in Hulls Cove, Maine to Cecil and Hazel (Wallace) Robbins. They moved to Bar Harbor, Maine, where Grace met her future husband, Frank, during high school. She graduated co-salutatorian from Bar Harbor High School in 1950 and attended Eastern Maine Medical Center where she graduated as a Registered Nurse in 1953.

Upon graduation she got married and lived in Seal Harbor, Maine. Shortly thereafter, Frank enlisted in the Air Force and they traveled extensively, eventually settling in Papillion, Nebraska. Grace was a life-long Episcopalian and a long-time worshiper at St. Andrews in Omaha, Nebraska, and recently became a member of St. Martha Episcopal Church. She was an avid reader, knitter, and enjoyed working in her garden.

Grace is preceded in death by her husband, her parents, and her brother, Cecil L. Robbins Jr.

Grace is survived by her daughters: Kim (Tim) Hatfield and Donna Jordan; grandchildren: Chris (Alex) Herzog and Jessica Cavin; great-grandsons: Cameron, Caden, and Colton Cavin and Corbin Herzog.

VISITATION Friday, December 8, 10:00-11:00 am with FUNERAL SERVICE to follow at 11:00 am all at the Mortuary. INTERMENT at Cedar Dale Cemetery.
