Throughout her life, Sue was a dedicated and hardworking woman who held a variety of jobs, each reflecting her versatility and strong work ethic. She was a woman who had “something” for everything! She enjoyed spending time in her backyard and gardening, doing puzzles, DIY projects, traveling to many interesting places, taking care of her pets, enjoying time with her friends, and loved being actively involved in the lives of her seven grandchildren.
Sue and her husband Dennis spent 27 years in the military and were stationed many exciting places. These included Florida, Nevada, Utah, Kansas, and Nebraska; and two overseas tours, one to the Azores and the other tour to Sicily, Italy. Sue leaves behind a lifetime of stories – ones that will be passed down through generations, ensuring that her spirit of adventures and love for making memories will never be forgotten.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Frelon Mardick and Keith Mardick.
She is survived by her Spouse/children/names of the living husband, Dennis Taylor of 55 years and her two children; daughter Tina Hunter and her husband, Chris Hunter of Omaha Nebraska and their three children, Chelsea, Marissa, and Cole; son, Erik Taylor and his wife, Eden Taylor of Wichita Kansas and their five children, Dustin, Kylie, Mia, Lilli, and Erika; her three great-grandchildren, Brynlee, Lucas, and Lainey; her two sisters Nancy Fitness of California and Julia Wroble of Montana; and several nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life will be held Friday, January 10, 2025 at 11:00 AM at Kahler-Dolce Mortuary, 441 N Washington St, Papillion, Nebraska 68046. The family will be accepting guests at 10:00 AM.
A private family interment will follow the service at Omaha National Cemetery. Family and friends are invited to the home of Sue and Dennis Taylor following the private interment from 2-4pm.
