Myrtle A. Capriola

Myrtle Adel Capriola, 81, of Berwyn, passed away on Tuesday Dec. 18, 2012 at Paoli Hospital after a brief illness. Born in Strafford Pa, she was the daughter of the late Harry and Anne (Hession) Dannaker. She was the wife of the late Anthony Capriola who passed away in 2005, with whom she shared 53 years of marriage. She was a 1949 graduate of Tredyffrin-Easttown High School. Myrtle was a long time member of St. Monica Church of Berwyn. She was an avid reader, gardener and lover of Frank Sinatra music. She loved to go sailing with her sons in Barnegat Bay NJ. Myrtle is survived by her children, Glenn of Downingtown, Alan and his wife Elizabeth of Downingtown, and Robert and his wife Victoria of Frazier. She is also survived by six grandchildren Elizabeth Capriola, Nicole Capriola, Adam Capriola, Christina Capriola, Benjamin Capriola and Alan Capriola Jr. In addition to her parents, she was also predeceased by her son Anthony Capriola Jr. (wife of Pat Sullivan). She is also survived by her long time friend and sister-in-law Anne Riley of Strafford. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held from 9:15 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. on Friday Dec. 21st, at St. Monica Church in Berwyn, followed by a Mass of Christian burial at 10:00 am. Interment will be at St. Monica Cemetery in Berwyn for the family and friends. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Monica Church, 63 First Avenue, Berwyn, Pa. 19312.
