Dorothy E. Moreland

January 2, 1926 to October 3, 2018

On October 3, Dorothy E. Moreland, passed away peacefully at the age of 92. Born in Philadelphia, Dorothy formerly resided in Huntingdon Valley, PA, and Florida, and spent her childhood and adult years vacationing on Long Beach Island, NJ. Most recently, Dorothy was a long-time resident of Paoli, and a vibrant and founding member of the Daylesford Crossing community in Paoli where she enjoyed many friends, new adventures, her spirited independence, and her dear companion, Richard Powers. Dorothy was known by all who had the pleasure of her company for her engaging disposition, ever-positive outlook, keen perception, and quick wit. She was the beloved mother of Merril L. Zebe (Dennis D. Hager) and Laurel J. Sexton, and devoted grandmother of Bryan M. Hager (Candace) and Maggie Sexton (Raquel Marque). She is also survived by her brother, Donald Conti (Nancy), sister-in-law, Irene Zebe, and three nieces (Deborah Zebe-Tangen, Donna Zebe, and Jeanette Kirschner) and one nephew (Donald Zebe). The service will be private for family and friends. Memorial contributions may be made in Dorothy’s honor to a charity of your choice.
