Donald E. Keyser, 88, of Glen Mills, PA passed away peacefully into Eternal life on October 16, 2017. Born in Chester, PA, Don was a life-long resident of the suburban Philadelphia area and enjoyed wintering in Fort Myers, FL. He is pre-deceased by his beloved wife, Toshiko (Miyashita) Keyser, his oldest daughter, Lynn Keyser Derrickson (John), and long time companion, Anita Dreher. Don was part of the greatest generation and served in occupied Japan, where he met his future wife, Tosh. Don was a natural salesman and worked for the Atlantic Richfield Company for over 35 years. Upon returning from Japan to Glen Riddle, Don and Tosh owned and operated a gas station and convenience store, and were members of Calvary Episcopal, where Don served on the vestry. Don was an avid golfer at both Hershey’s Mill and Kelly Greens Country Clubs, and enjoyed both domestic and international travel. Don cherished being around people and he never met a person whom which he would not engage in a conversation. He was a devoted Husband, Father and Grandfather of a proud family, which includes, children, Kim Pershouse (William) of West Chester, PA and Craig Keyser (Lynn) of Avalon, NJ. His brother Kenneth Keyser (Jackie). Don’s grandchildren include Scott Derrickson, Lauren Pershouse, Steven Pershouse, Ian Keyser, Kieran Keyser and Gretchen Keyser. Family and friends are invited to Resurrection Episcopal Church, 667 Mount Rd. Aston PA to celebrate Don’s life on Saturday, October 21st, with visitation at 10:30 AM followed by a service at 11 AM. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be sent to your favorite charity in Don’s honor.
