Tony was the loving husband of Mary Louise (Holt) Antonelli. They were happily married for 52 years. Tony is survived by his loving wife, Mary Louise, daughter Amy (Antonelli) Nicholls, her husband Carl and his granddaughters Chelsea and Anna Nicholls. He is also survived by sister Roseann (Brady) McDowell and many in-laws and nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his son Joseph Antonelli (wife Alice Richardson), mother Rose (Pirazzo) Antonelli and father Anthony Antonelli Senior.
Tony was a graduate of Conestoga High School in 1958 and an active member of the U.S. Army and Navy. For many years, he worked as a Retail Manager for A & P Stores.
Anyone who knew Tony, knew how deeply devoted he was to his family, especially his granddaughters Chelsea and Anna. His most precious times were spent at his beach house with them in Ocean City, New Jersey. He was so proud to see them off to University of Florida and Clemson. They were the apples of his eye.
He coached his daughter Amy and her friends in Berwyn/Paoli little league softball for many years. His love for sports was evident, especially for the Phillies and the Eagles. He would have loved to see them play in the Super Bowl next week and was excited for the game.
Tony was a caring, fun happy-go-lucky man who helped many people. He will be dearly missed.
Visitation will be at 10:30 am with mass at 11:30 at St. Monica's Church in Berwyn on Friday, February 10th. The interment will be private.
