Alan Michael Ameche

He was born on September 11, 1954 to the late Alan Ameche and Yvonne Ameche. Alan is preceded in death by his father Alan, and his brothers Brian and Paul. He is survived by his mother Yvonne Ameche Davis. Brother of; Catherine Cappelletti (Michael), and their children Michael, Kate and John, Michael Ameche (Beth Ann) and their daughter Serafina, and Beth D’Arcy (Sean) and their children Edward, Liam, Maggie and Nora.

Alan’s passion was mentoring young men and women, whether through teaching, coaching, or volunteering with Big Brothers Big Sisters of America. He was a co-founder and the president of the Alan Ameche Memorial Foundation, established in memory of his late father, Alan. Alan was deeply devoted to his family and had a special bond with his many nieces and nephews, whom he adored. He will be sadly missed by his family.

Visitation is Saturday, April 6 at 10 AM at Saint John Vianney Church, 350 Conshohocken State Road, Gladwyne, PA. Mass of Christian burial to follow at 11 AM. Interment at Calvary Cemetery to immediately follow.
