I knew Bill for 35 years, having first met him when I came to work for the Manatee County Building Department.  He was an absolute joy and had the biggest heart of anyone I have met and his generosity was unmeasured. As for his driving skills, good luck to anyone trying to keep up with him in his work truck.  He will be so missed.

Although I hadn't seen Bill for years, I was so saddened to hear of his passing. I loved him and will miss hearing about his "latest" thing!!!  Irreplaceable... don't make them like Bill anymore. My most sincere sympathies to the whole family.

Bill Belle was not just my brother-in-law. He was my friend. 
I have so many memories of beach vacations, lunches, dinners, cruises, day trips, shopping and going to his cabins in NC and so much fun and laughter.
Such a hardworking, giving, honest, loving, Christian man. 
My life was much richer from knowing Bill and he was loved and respected by our family and many people.
We shall meet again, And I know that God has "put you in charge" of something great up there.

Bill was the living example of a man who lived his life by God's blueprint. He loved his family more than anything and always made sure to tell us that we could always count on him. When we did sometimes ask for help, he never expected anything in return. Bill lived by his word and never took his life for granted. He faced many challenges throughout his life. As a young boy he contracted and survived polio and was the hardest working man I've ever known who didn't allow a disability to stop him from accomplishing anything he strived to achieve. I witnessed him work twelve hour days of hard physical labor, five days a week, in Florida's July heat and still come home with a smile on his face. Honestly, I don't know how he did it. Its not just his courage that is to be admired, but his impressive, unhuman-like willpower that seemed to be engrained into his very being. He was a special man in more ways than one. His attitude and integrity was something that I will always admire along with his great generosity and sense of humor. On Christmas Eve at our family dinner (usually spent at Bill and Janice's) there were often others invited that we did not know. Individuals Bill knew or worked with that often had young children, but had no where to go for the holidays. Many times they didn't have the means to provide a Christmas for their children. Every year, Bill invited them to our gathering. He bought gifts for their children and brought them into his home and treated them like family. This sums up the kind of man Bill was. He will be greatly missed not only by members of his family, but by the community he so graciously served. I love you Uncle Bill. Till I see you again, Boy Howdy! Ill never forget your laugh....

Bill is now running around Heaven repairing Angels wings with duct tape and oiling the Pearly Gates. We already miss his humor and generosity and God and Heaven will be very pleased with this remarkable soul. We love you, Bill.

I was blessed to have loved and been loved by you.  Thank you for the laughter, the hugs, the "always there," the "uncle billisms," the pep talks, breakfasts, beach days, crazy car rides, high waves out of your truck window, your heart, your humor.  You made life happy and you've touched mine so much.  Much love to you, Uncle Bill.

Bill always brought a smile to my face. I am a Resident Assistant at MRAL and I loved seeing his smile every morning. I loved hearing his stories and his jokes. He was always helping me through the day. I'm going to miss him very much. He was a great man with a big heart and an even bigger personality. I'm glad God chose to send him to us and bless our lives with his happiness. Iwant to extend my condolences to his family, his wife and kids, I know what a loss this must feel because I only knew him a shirt while and my heart hurts knowing he is no longer going to be there bright and early with a big smile and an amazing hug. I am so very sorry Janice and family. Bill was a very special man with so much love in his heart for his family. He was a man of his word and everyone knew it. God bless you and comfort you as you learn to live with the memories of his laughter and his stories.

I will always remember Bill stopping at Steve Whites every morning to have his coffee and to tell his stories. He was a man of integrity. He will be sadly missed. May he R.I.P

Bill was an amazing man who refused to be slowed by physical limitations.  He was quick to hop into a 6 ft deep pool and take care of a small problem himself rather than asking a young helper to fix the issue.  I know he touched virtually every person that knew him by his strength of character.  Vicki and I are proud to have had him as a friend.  We will miss the lovable, ornery rascal!!!

We love you mr bill. And gonna miss seeing daily. Sorry jeep wasn't ready in time for the ride. But I'll do special laps just for you.  Mrs janice and Amy. I want you guys to know he was family to us at the shop. And we will truly miss and have loved him
