Charles Joseph Craig Jr., 77, of Rosamond, California passed away February 2, 2022. He was the first born son of loving parents Antoinette Leone Craig and Charles Joseph Craig Sr. After graduating from Keyport High School in Keyport, New Jersey, he completed vocational training and worked in the field of computer programming. While in his 20’s he and his only sibling George Leroy Craig followed their dream of moving to California where he quickly found his passion – Harley Davison motorcycles. He and George opened ‘Charlie’s Place’, a motorcycle fabrication business in Palmdale, California. He became a well known expert in Harley Davison frame restoration. The love of his life for almost 30 years was his wife, Joanne Lamm Craig, who passed away in 2017. She was his expert researcher, landscaper, painter, contractor, roofer - and everything else. Charlie loved to travel and enjoyed experiencing all different foods, being especially fond of “the noble pig”. He was always so fun to be with, was truly present, enjoyed life and loved his family and friends. We are so very thankful to have known him and shared our lives with him, we will forever carry him in our minds and in our hearts. Charlie is survived by his daughter Mia Santoro, son-in-law Chris Santoro, grandchildren Aubrey, Kelsey, Bubby and first great-grandson Luka.
