Hey Wally-O!  How about that little league season you coached the Indians and I got to meet Mike.  And our trips together camping in Jonathan Dickensen. What were our CB handles again? Wally-O, Smilin’ Jack, Mad Dog, Flyin’ Mike, Tar Baby, Ice Princess, Gypsy and  Hairy-Har. Man, I wish I could go back in time and find Mike’s camping hat. Meeting the Wolfson boys and playing football on the dirt road at camp. Or that time Bob Wolfson ran down the beach like a “gazelle” for a touchdown.  Catching fiddler crabs, together and fishing for sheepshead. Or that time you accidentally threw a bag of firecrackers into the campfire. And in more recent years, the wonderful winters we spent together. Miss you Wally-O!  Mike Lev

Harriet and Family,
The life of Wally Abel was truly a Blessed One. Always surrounded by friends and family, never a moment that laughter was at a premium. Wally, God Bless Him, always found the funny side to almost everything. I probably was his best audience. I can’t think of him without smiling, whether it was on the beach at AC or eating somewhere in Florida. It takes a special person to leave such a heartfelt memory. 
May his memory be a blessing. Love to All.
