Todd David Barron was born in Houston, TX on August 29, 1974, to Harry and Andrea Barron. The youngest brother to Heidi, Lisa and Michael, Todd was always a fun, easy going child, who became the most amazing, smart, accomplished, generous, beloved man. Todd grew up in Boca Raton, FL where he was very active in BBYO’s AZA becoming Regional Vice-President. He graduated from Spanish River High School before heading off to the University of Florida. There, he was a third-generation brother of the TEP Jewish fraternity. Todd graduated from the University of Florida in 1996 with a degree in Business Administration. In 2003, Todd met the love of his life, the only person who could match Todd’s immense goodness and energy, Debra Wolosoff. Todd and Deb married in 2006, and later became the proud parents of Sarah and Lilah. Todd, and his brother, Michael, worked together for over twenty years as very successful wealth management advisors at UBS and Morgan Stanley, where they formed the Barron Group. Todd loved serving his loyal clients and being part of a tight-knit team. Todd was a good friend to hundreds of individuals. A “life of the party” guy, Todd loved to plan events and travel, and this led to incredibly memorable gatherings of friends and family. Some favorite trips with family and friends included: Hawaii, Seattle, L.A., Las Vegas, Boston, Key Biscayne, Kiawah Island, Captiva Island, Denver, Montreal, Kentucky’s Bourbon Trail, New York City, the family River House, many Gator football games and other college and professional football games, including the 2021 Super Bowl, as well as cruises to the Bahamas, Alaska, and Canada. Deb and Todd especially treasured their trips to Rome, Portugal, London and Paris. Todd and Deb worked together as young philanthropists and volunteers in the Wellington and greater West Palm Beach area. It was a passion they both shared, founding the Young Friends of the Palm Beach Symphony, and volunteering for the Palm Beach Opera, the Maltz Jupiter Theatre, and the Boys and Girls Club of Wellington, where Todd served as the Executive Board chair for two years. Todd proudly served as a local volunteer auctioneer and provided his exceptional skills to any and all charities who asked. He even devoted a website to this where you can find some of his best videos posted: www.volunteerauctioneer.com. In 2015, Todd received the Community Impact Award from the Young Professionals of Wellington for his leadership and commitment to making Wellington a better place to live. Todd and Deb were very active in their synagogue, Temple Beth Torah of Wellington, where they chaired four of the Temple’s Gala fundraisers. They were honored in 2022 with the Gala Service award for their outstanding dedication to the synagogue. Temple Beth Torah just named the Todd D. Barron Social Hall in his honor. In addition to philanthropy and volunteerism, the most important things to Todd were deep, meaningful relationships with friends and family and living each day fully and joyfully. Todd’s beautiful, caring, kind soul and extremely jubilant spirit led to him having hundreds of dear friends who always showed up for his epic parties and exciting travels. His large extended family was blessed to enjoy so many, “Top Shelf Todd” fabulous experiences. In February 2018, Todd was diagnosed with Ewing’s Sarcoma, an extremely rare bone and soft tissue cancer. For six years, he fought the bravest and toughest fight, earning the appropriate nickname from his medical team, family and friends of, “Superman!” He underwent four major surgeries, including an above the knee amputation, endured, without complaint, ten different chemotherapies, one immunotherapy and over 75 days of radiation therapy. He participated in two clinical trials, which did not work for him, but he hoped would advance science to find a cure for others. In 2022, Todd received the Amira Yunis Courage Award from the Sarcoma Foundation of America, after which he got up and did a live call to the heart plea, which brought in an additional $100,000 in under 3 minutes. Todd fought his Ewing’s Sarcoma with a positive attitude and zest for living the fullest life possible. In the last four years, Todd took on a full renovation of the house that included a new backyard party spot where he hosted several huge house parties and tons of smaller ones. Todd was a longtime Bourbon aficionado and he built Todd’s Bourbon Bar into the dining room, where he shared hundreds of toasts, over very special bottles, with his dear friends and family. Todd continued to rap, plan trips, throw parties and tell stories up until his last days. Even as the cancer spread to every part of Todd’s body in recent months, he continued to travel and work. In the last months of his life, he got to see his daughter, Sarah, become Bat Mitzvah in November and celebrate with the most incredible of his parties that Sarah and he planned together. He got to celebrate Deb’s birthday at his favorite Ritz Carlton Key Biscayne property just two weeks ago, surrounded by family and friends of over 30 years. He was so proud of his daughters and all they have already accomplished. They gave him so much joy. The three very best things in his life were Deb, Sarah and Lilah and he made sure they knew that. He found peace in knowing he left them surrounded by an immense village of friends and family to offer love and support. All who knew Todd are left brokenhearted by his passing, but so deeply inspired by him and comforted by many precious memories. Todd’s final message to his children, nieces and nephews and all who knew him was: ALWAYS BE A GIVER! And that he was. He was a giver and a gift! Todd is survived by his wife, Deb, his daughters Sarah and Lilah, his mother, Andrea Barron, his siblings, Heidi Coretz (Alan), Lisa Fridman (Gene), and Michael Barron (Brenna), and numerous close family members. His memory will always be for blessing. Please share your own Top Shelf Todd stories here: www. Volunteerauctioneer.com/stories
