DOBIN, EDWARD I., born in Binghamton, NY, Jan. 30, 1936; son of David I. and Frances (Lieber) Dobin; Beloved husband of Gloria Schreiber (d. November 24, 2018), Aug. 1959; Beloved father and grandfather to: Marc S. Dobin (Donna Lee A. Spinosi), Nanette Dobin Cronan (d. August 20, 2019) (Thomas J. Cronan) and Andrea Dobin and Alexander and Michele Dobin, Grant and Nina Lazarovici. He attended Cornell University 1953-54 and received his BS from Franklin & Marshall College in 1957. He received his law degree from University of Pennsylvania in 1960; He was an associate, then partner and managing partner of Curtin & Heefner LLP, Morrisville, Pa., 1961-2001. He was of counsel to the firm from 2002-13. His lifetime of public service included Trustee of Adath Israel Congregation, Trenton, N.J., 1972-81; Chairman, Mid Atlantic Territory of the American Red Cross 1988-92, Board of Directors, Lower Bucks chapter 1978-2000, president 1983-84; Board of Directors, Abrams Hebrew Academy, Yardley, Pa., pres., 1980-84; Chairman, Jewish Federation. of Philadelphia-Bucks Co. division, 1991-93; Board of Directors, Philadelphia Geriatric Ctr., 1999-2001; trustee Jewish Federation of Philadelphia, 2001-03; Fellow American Bar Foundation (life), Pa. Bar Foundation (life); mem. Pennsylvania Bar Association, Bucks County Bar Association. (board of directors 1971-72, treasurer 1973-74, president 1981--82); member National Association of Bond Lawyers, Pennsylvania Association of Bond Lawyers (founder, board of directors, 1988-¬93, president 1990-91). 1985 Abrams Hebrew Academy Honoree Annual Scholarship Dinner; 1995 Israel Bonds Unity Award at Israel Bonds Annual Dinner; 1996 Citizen of the Year at American Red Cross, Lower Bucks County Chapter Breakfast.
