Everett E. (Tracy) Howard III passed away peacefully in his sleep May 30, 2012 at his home in Sebastian after a courageous battle with cancer and heart disease. He was born June 30, 1940 in Peoria, Illinois to Ed and Gerry Howard. He lived a full and colorful life. His hobbies included piloting his own airplane, building and racing his top fuel dragster, becoming a skilled potter, producing fine wines, and cooking wonderful meals. He was an aerospace software engineer and worked aboard the Red Stone, a range tracking ship, assigned to the Apollo missions. He was an Air Force veteran, owned and operated numerous businesses in the plant and exotic fish industries and was one of the founders of a leading edge technology company and remained active until his death.
Tracy is survived by is wife, Rusty, his daughter Kyla and son-in-law Danne, his grandchildren Mandi, Mikylee, and Kinder, daughter Michelle and children, his mother Gerry, brother Larry, and sisters Donna and Beth.
Viewing will be held Monday June 4, 2012 from 10:00 am until 12:00 noon.
At Fountainhead Funeral Home, 7359 Babcock St. Palm Bay, Burial will follow in Fountainhead Memorial Park with Military Honors.
