Born in Bronx, New York, he was the son of David and Estelle. He attended DeWitt Clinton High School and graduated from Chaminade College with a Bachelor's degree in General Studies. He served in the US Air Force for 28 years. After retiring from the Air Force, he was a Jr. ROTC Instructor for 14 years. Following his second retirement, he was a full time substitute teacher for Brevard County for many years.
He was a life long New York Yankees fan, which he passed on to his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife Nancy; children: Michael, Cynthia, Wendy, and Tracey; brother, Charles; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his son, William.
The funeral service will be held on August 31, 2019 at 1:00 pm at Wylie-Baxley Funeral Home at 1360 N. Courtenay Parkway, Merritt Island, Florida 32953. The visitation will be held from 12:00 pm to the time of the service.
