Ron Sr and Family.  Theres no words that I can offer to you thatll ease a moment of your grief. A year without Ron Jr. may have passed by, but the sadness and profound loss stings as much as day One. My heart is with you today and every day. I wish you comfort and Peace in the beautiful memories you hold dear. Bless you All.

I was stationed with  Ronald Guy Giscombe (I called him Sgt Giscombe ) in Baumholder , Germany and he was my team leader in Iraq. 
I lost touch with him over the years but the days of being deployed seem like yesterday. There was never a dull moment during our missions , training , and conversations. We called our platoon "Wild Bunch" . 
My deepest condelences to his family. I'm sorry for this sudden and tragic loss . May he rest in heaven . 

Ron, from the day we met 35 years ago , when you and Nino gave me my shoe back to the very last time I saw you in may . You have been a very important person in my life . No matter what life threw at us we always remand strong . When I came to see you may. I could not believe we planned it in 2 days. Little did we know that Would be the last time I would see you. That trip was ment to be for us. Thank you for an amazing time. 
I’m glad I have that memory forever. I love you my best friend.

Ronald Guy Giscombe Jr. Was many things to many people.  A son, a father,  a friend,  a confidant,  a jokster,  a smart guy,  a good guy,  a good sales guy,  an entrepreneur,  a traveler. To me,  he was simply one of my dearest friends. 2002 in Germany, this man pops his head out of a window and proceeded to jump up into mine to introduce himself. Throughout the years, he detailed the successes of his children, how proud he was of each of his boys. His love of setting them up for success. His thoughts never strayed far from what he envisioned for each of you. I had the distinct pleasure of meeting his parents while everyone was in the middle of moving from Virginia to Florida. Guy was introduced (finally)  to my father who share the same first name. My deepest sympathy to your family Guy, nothing makes this better. You are deeply missed and thought of often.  To the Giscombe family,  my deepest sympathy to you all.

2002 May is when we met, 2013 is when I wished you a happy birthday again in person, sporadically we would call each other to say hi. You were filled with stories and experience because you lived life. I have a voicemail from you asking to stay with us after you just came back from Egypt. Of course the answer will always be yes. Silly Guy. My wife would go to bed long before we were done catching up. It was pure joy being with you. Even when we cried together. I love you.

I am so shocked and heartbroken to hear of Ron Jr's passing. No words can express how deeply saddened this news is. Ron Jr was such a bright light, a smile that lit up the entire zip code he stood in. One of the most amazing qualities he had was his love and commitment to his Dad. He was such a special Soul who was honorable,kind and  genuine . My heart hurts for his children though  I'm certain they possess all of his wonderful characteristics as well. And with that, he and his Legacy can never be taken away.  May God Bless you all and may you find comfort and Peace in the sweet memories you hold close in your  hearts.

Found out about Guy’s ( Ranger is what we called him online) this morning and I was deeply saddened about the news. I’ve games and talked to your dad for quite a good amount of years and always a pleasure to talk to. I wish I got to meet him in person. My condolences to the family.
