He was survived by his wife of 66 years Grace, son Andy and spouse Karyn, daughter Cindy and spouse Mike, and daughter Laura and spouse John. He was also survived by his grandchildren Laura, Brendin, Colin, Sophie, Adryianna, Abigail and Nate, and great grandchildren, Savanna, William and Caroline.
He was born in Baltimore, Maryland and had a long tenured professional career at the Social Security Administration. He also served in the US Army. He was a member of Babcock Presbyterian Church, SSA Federal Credit Union, the Irish Club and Moose Lodge.
He enjoyed spending time with his family, playing golf and cards and dabbled in meteorology.
Above all else, he will be remembered for his kindness and compassion towards others.
A private memorial will take place in Ocean City, Maryland.
