Patrick Dominick Ranieri

Patrick Dominick Ranieri, of Melbourne, Florida was peacefully called to our Lord on Tuesday, September 6, 2022 at William Childs Hospice House. Patrick has now joined his loving wife Mary of 62 years.

He was the loving father of Joseph Ranieri, Anne and Jeremiah Ryan and Mary and Michael Peterson, Sr. The beloved grandfather to Ariel Miner, Kaylee Myers, Sara Trivette, Michael Peterson, Jr. and adored great-grandfather of Allie Miner, Donovan Myers and Evelyn Myers.

Patrick was born in Tarrytown, NY to Frank and Gaetana Ranieri. After serving in the Army during the Korean War and earning his Aerospace Engineering degree from Boston University he worked for Sikorsky Aircraft, Avco Aerospace and Grumman Aerospace. Patrick held increasingly important positions with Grumman Aerospace that included major programs such as the Apollo Space Program LEM, Space Shuttle Program and retired as the assistant to the Grumman Aerospace President "Fred Haise" (Apollo 13 Astronaut) while working on the Space Station Program.

Patrick's passions were serving the Lord, his family and going on cruises with his beloved wife Mary.

A visitation for Patrick will be held Tuesday, September 13, 2022 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church, 3050 North Hwy A1A, Indialantic, FL 32903, followed by a funeral mass at 2:00 PM.
