Mary Farrell

Mary (Barrett) Farrell, 80, of Melbourne, passed away peacefully February 19, 2016 after a long courageous battle with cancer. She was born in Hartford CT on May 10, 1935 to the late Fredrick and Mary (Carroll) Barrett. She was a graduate of her beloved Salve Regina University. She raised her family in Simsbury CT before moving to her cherished Florida. Mary will be remembered for her love of sports, games, books, movies, languages and especially her sense of humor. She was loved by all who had the pleasure to meet her. Mary is survived by her children; Colleen Farrell of Palm Bay, Edward Patrick Farrell IV of Melbourne, Michael Farrell of Gold Hill NC, Jack Farrell of Wethersfield CT, Mary Kate Rodrigues of Larchmont NY and Peggy O'Neal of Rockwell NC, 13 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her brothers Freddie and Matt Barrett. She also leaves behind her siblings Betty Lou Bowles, Billy Barrett, Patty Jo Shannon, Bobby Barrett and Katie Schackner.
