Born in Brooklyn, NY she was the daughter of James and Viola Vitale. She graduated and married her high school sweetheart. She co-owned a restaurant and an ice cream parlor, worked in customer service for American Express, and was a child caregiver.
She was a member of the Catholic Church and enjoyed helping others. Her hobbies included playing cards, playing the slot machines, and taking care of her plants. She will be remembered as a loving mother and grandmother and for her warm smile as well as her silliness!! She loved shopping and going out with her girlfriends. Her and dad loved traveling, especially to Las Vegas.
She is survived by her 100 year old mother, her 3 children, her daughter-in-law, her 7 granddaughters, and her grandson. She is now reunited with her husband, father and brother.
The funeral will be held on March 12th at 10am at Holy Spirit Catholic Church located at 1000 W. Lantana Rd., Lantana, FL 33462. The graveside service, where she will join Nunzio in the niche, will be on March 14th at 11am at Curlew Hills Memory Gardens Cemetery located at 1750 Curlew Rd., Palm Harbor, FL 34683.
Memorial donations in lieu of flowers may be made to the H. Lee Moffitt Cancer and Research Center and mailed to 3011 Holly Dr., Tampa, FL 33612.
