Edward Z. Midgett Jr.

Edward Z. Midgett, Jr., 88 years of age, a devout Christian and long time resident of Melbourne, Florida was called home to be with our Lord and Savior on September 16, 2022. Edward was born on March 31, 1934 to the late Edward Z. Midgett, Sr. and Verl Doughty Midgett in Ship Bottom, NJ. He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Marlene Jenkins Midgett, his son Michael Edward Midgett (Vickie L. Midgett), daughter Karen Midgett Williams (Dennis R. Williams), grandson Kyle R. Williams, granddaughter Kaylee A. Williams, brothers Robert B. Midgett (Georgia Midgett) and James B. Midgett (Lorraine Midgett) and many, many nieces and nephews. A gentle soul with a giving heart, he will be missed by those who knew and loved him. His memories will forever be in our hearts until we meet again

A visitation for Edward will be held Saturday, October 8, 2022 at 11:00 AM at Fountainhead Funeral Home, 7359 Babcock Street SE, Palm Bay, FL 32909. A funeral service will occur Saturday, October 8, 2022 at 12:00 PM, 7359 Babcock Street SE, Palm Bay, FL 32909. A committal service will occur Saturday, October 8, 2022 at 1:00 PM at Fountainhead Memorial Park, 7303 Babcock Street SE, Palm Bay, FL 32909.
