She will be lovingly remembered by her 6 children, Houple, Hyacinth, Heather, Hume, Hilma, Horace, 18 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and 3 great- great-grandchildren. Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband (Windsor D. Campbell), and her son (Harcourt O’Brian Campbell).
Dorothy was employed as a Dietician at 200 Central Avenue Day Care Center in Brooklyn, New York for over 20 years. She was a woman of faith and her family was very important to her. Dorothy enjoyed preparing lavish meals for holiday celebrations for her entire family. She was also an avid Baker and was well known for her decorative birthday and wedding cakes. Dorothy was also a socialite. She enjoyed traveling and engaging in many activities as a member of the Salvation Army of Melbourne, Florida.
Dorothy will dearly be missed by her family and friends. She was a strong woman with a loving and caring heart. Her positive attitude, generous spirit, and her commitment to her faith will remain with all who knew her. Her spirit will live on as her legacy will continue in the hearts of those she loved.
The Visitation for Dorothy Campbell will be held on Saturday, February 11, 2023, at 10:00 AM at Bethany Church, 1100 Dorchester Avenue, Melbourne, Florida 32904, with the Funeral Service to follow at 11:00 AM at Bethany Church. The Committal Service will commence at 2:00 PM at Fountainhead Memorial Park, 7303 Babcock Street SE, Palm Bay, Fl 32909.
