Catherine M Giordano

Catherine Giordano, formerly of Paterson and Bergenfield, New Jersey, resided in Barefoot Bay, Florida, for 34 years. After a short illness, she went to her eternal rest a week short of her 95th birthday.

In New Jersey, Catherine held administrative positions in Paterson’s City Hall and in Passaic County Community College, but her loves were golf, Bridge, and the unspoiled beauty of the Indian River in Sebastian.

Catherine was predeceased by her beloved husband, Tony, and her son, Thomas Geisler, and three of her siblings, John and Timothy Donohue, and Eileen Hurley.

She is survived by her sons, Walter Geisler of Melbourne Beach and Edward Geisler of Gladstone, New Jersey; daughters-in-law Theresa and Linda; granddaughters Anna Geisler of Boston and Robyn Geisler; sister, Maryann Poris of West Orange, New Jersey. Catherine has been blessed with numerous nephews and nieces living throughout the country.

There will be a visitation from 1:30-2:30pm on Thursday, February 10, 2022 at St Luke Catholic Church, 5055 Micco Road, Barefoot Bay, FL 32976. Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 2:30pm. Entombment will take place at Fountainhead Memorial Park.
