Titi I see you every day on my digital frame I think of you often we are so  similar ( Who’d thunk it !)

One summer, I came to have a date with grandma and I happened to be all dressed up. As soon as she greeted me she couldn't help to stare at my shoes. Grandma kept telling me all about her love for shoes and how she had a very similar pair when she was in her early 20s. Luckily at the time grandma could still walk, so I asked would she want to try them on? Her face said it all! She lit up with pure joy. I helped her put them on and she got right up as if she never forgot how to strut in her favorite pair of shoes. I love you grandma! 

This is how I’ll always remember you... 

We remember the summer vacations we had in Queens when we lived In Harlem. Titi Carmelita , Isaura and Mariita  Made  great food and We enjoyed country air. Titi  Carmelita and Uncle Charlie were Adrienne‘S godparents and our parents were Tommy’s godparents.  Although they weren’t sistersCachucha and Titi Carmelita shared a great sisterly love. They were also fashionistas in their day because they worked on Fashion Ave( 7thAve). We were always a loving family. Gracias a Dios. 

 May the peace of God that excels all human thought be with all in this time of mourning.

We will always have in our memory the personal moments we shared with Carmen.
More important is the fact that she is in the unfailing memory of our 'Loving Heavenly Creator'.

Gods' inspired word, the holy bible, is his way of communicating with us.
We can without any doubt trust in God, because he is a God who cannot lie.

He has, thru the Apostle John, given us a hope that should comfort all who have lost loved ones to the enemy death. READ John 5:25-29; ....in part it reads  "Do not be amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice, and come out....." (We will see our loved ones again.)
 Thru his word God has provided the reality of the condition of the dead.
These comforting words are found in the book of Ecclesiastes 9:5, "For the living know that they will die, but the dead know nothing at all, nor do they have any more reward"
As a closing thought....
When faced with the reality of death, may we turn from our routine concerns or activities and focus on the brevity of life. Doing so can help us to live our life in a more meaningful way rather than simply to muddle through or waste it.

Titi I have so many memories I knew & loved you all my 67 years, you were my Dad’s only sister my Mom’s BFF  ,Adrienne’s Madrina & the mother  of my prima hermana Maria Del  Carmen Toro ( I always loved that name ).You loomed large in my life when I was very young & when I was an adult as well . We are very similar in personality as well as looks , we shared the joy of cooking  ( your pasteles will always remain Supreme) . We enjoyed celebrity news  especially   People magazine.  I didn’t get to see you  often  once you moved south but every visit to Florida no matter what had to include a get together with my Mini Me I have photos to prove it ! 
I’ll miss you my darling Titi Carmelita   ,  more then your family  who love & adore you but  I miss you all the same . I’m just happy to know you are at Peace along side those family members who you have passed on before us , speaking of which a big shout out to Norman  , Lou , Marita ,  Your Dad , my Dad , my Mom , Abuelita & my Sweet Abuela , Uncle Sam Everett,  Elisa,  Arturo the whole gang !

Mom, I was just looking at some photos of you and the family. Some showed brighter times and some not so bright. I had forgotten how much you used to smile in your younger days. It made me realize how happy you were then. It filled my heart with joy and sadness at the same time. I wish those happy times for you now where ever you are. In my heart I know you did the best you could to raise your children and we all thank you for that. It's a shame that we always see someone in a different light once they're gone. I love you, and believe it or not, I will miss knowing you are around.  May the Lord keep you in his white light always.
