Carmen was a fun loving soul who cherished her family. She loved to watch murder mysteries like Matlock and Murder She Wrote and also read Danielle Steele novels. When she was younger Carmen enjoyed dancing, she loved Salsa music and music by Harry Belafonte. She loved the family summer vacations they went on in the Catskills. Carmen was a great cook and loved to go grocery shopping for the delicious meals she prepared.
She is survived by her children, Manuel Toro and his wife Marie, Thomas Toro and his wife Emmy, Maria Suarez and Norman Rivera who preceded her in death. Her grandchildren Angela Monrad, Lisa Toro, Denise Toro, Terese Seeger, Amanda Parvu, Ivan Troche II, Jason Troche, Karina Suarez, Crystal Rivera, Norman Rivera and Joshua Rivera, eleven great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren.
A celebration of life service for Carmen will be held Sunday, August 16, 2020 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at Fountainhead Funeral Home, 7359 Babcock St SE, Palm Bay, Florida 32909.
