Anibal Rodriguez, 77, of Palm Bay, Florida passed away Tuesday, May 31st at Holmes Regional Medical Center. Originally from Sabana Grande, Puerto Rico, Anibal enjoyed playing stickball and handball as a young man. And, of course, a good game of dominoes. He went on to proudly serve in the US Army and then had a long, fulfilling career with the New York City Transit. Anibal met his loving wife, Debbie, while driving the New York City bus- you could say that it was the ultimate passenger pick up! After retiring, Anibal and Debbie moved to Palm Bay from Englewood, New Jersey, in 1999. Anibal was loved my many people and those that knew him will all agree that he was quite the character. Humorous at times, but sensitive at others- he always had a joke, a smile, or a drink to share. Friends and family meant everything to Anibal, and he enjoyed entertaining them throughout his life. He leaves his memories to be cherished by his wife Deborah, his brothers Orlando and Caesar, his sisters Gladys and Evelyn, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and cherished friends. Anibal will always be remembered for his laugh and big smile. We will always love Anibal and he will forever live in our hearts. May he rest in peace.
