I don't have access to my photos of you, Zak, but I have all the memories of long shifts in mobile - especially Black Friday - and doing inventories. You were one of the first people to include me when I started at 1061 and I will forever be grateful for that. Thank you for getting me into Guild Wars 2 and ESO and for sticking close when I needed backup with people. You were a great friend and I'm honored to have known you.

 I will miss u dearly, we had the best time in our Mobile department @ 1061. Your laughter was contagious & always a bright light when there was darkness. You gave the best hugs , we had the funniest conversations & you by far have the best Chewbacca impersonation than anyone! Fly high.. u owl  (inside joke) & watch over everyone near & dear to u. I've missed you while you were still here, Zak, and I'll miss you so much more now that you're gone. You brought so much humor and joy to so many lives and always put everyone else first. You were damn sharp, often the fastest in the room, and made me laugh so hard I couldn't breathe more times then I could count. Always selfless, always going as far as it took to cheer up a friend. Thank you for always being a light, even when you were sitting in darkness. I'll never forget you and never stop wishing you were still here ❤️

Zak....Man, it hard to believe that you are gone.  Just seems like yesterday was when I first met you.  You and I had a lot of conversations, mainly about Star Wars and how much we enjoyed it.  You always had the best Chewie impersonation of anyone I have known.  Rest easy my friend and I will see you again someday soon.  Fly high to the Angels!!!

It's so hard to believe you're not with us anymore, Zak. I wanted to share a memory probably few people know. A few years ago, my mom was worried about my little brother being too isolated and asked if I'd be willing to reach out to you to see if you'd be open to hanging out with him. My little brother always adored you when we were together - he was so young at the time, around 3 when you would've first met him, but over the years we were together he got close to you and would get so excited whenever you were over. You took the time to play with him and give him attention. We didn't know he had mild autism at the time, but as he got older we learned and it made it a little difficult for him to be social. My mom thought MAYBE he'd be open to hanging out with you, even after all the years that had passed since you were in our lives and he was now a teenager. I reached out to you and we caught up a little, and I said I knew it was an odd request but asked if you'd be willing to spend time with my brother. You didn't even hesitate to say yes. If this made you feel awkward at all, you never showed it. I was so grateful to you for that. My brother ultimately was too shy to accept the offer, but just the fact that you were willing meant so much to my mom and me. You were just that kind of person, thoughtful and willing to help someone who needed it. You will be missed so much. 

I am going to miss you cousin. Thank you for all the laughs you gave us through the years. And being an honorary uncle big zak to my children. I love you. 

I am so thankful that I was able to go to a concert a few years back with Zakre and Ross. Those two were so much fun and made me laugh a lot!  It had been such a long time since I had seen Zak and to be able to get to see him again as a young man made my heart very happy. My heart is now breaking because he left us way too early. All my love to my LaBossiere family.  Please know you are constantly in my thoughts and prayers. 

What a goofball always. You ask for a “nice pic” and this is what he would give you. Always knew how to make you laugh ❤️ Miss you friend.

I remember this like it was yesterday. You told me to be be quick because my glasses were so strong you were going to puke. So many great times inside the 1061 box. You were and will forever be an epic human. I’m fortunate to have known you. I appreciate the laughter and the Wookiee you did so well. Give Jacob the biggest hug for me. I know he greeted you with open arms. Until we meet again. Rest easy my friend.

Zakre taught me so much about being my true nerdy self. I remember sitting up at all hours on Skype with him trying to teach me magic the gathering. He always acted tough, but getting him to laugh and smile was the best feeling in the world.
